Documenting North Idaho is run and operated by Cindy Ackley Nunn and Deborah Akers Mitchell.
This isn’t your ordinary history page. Our goal is to research and photographically document old properties in North Idaho that are, or could be, in danger of being lost forever. Where possible we also help to put clients in contact with those willing to remove a structure and preserve it elsewhere.
Our most recent project has been stopping the demolition of the historic Hamilton House at 627 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene.
We do take paid commissions to research and photograph the history of homes, business buildings or any other old structure or property that would have left a paper trail of some sort to follow.
Although we are called “Documenting North Idaho,” we are happy to provide a custom price package based on services needed and location.
Cindy and Deborah have over 60 years of combined experience in research, as well as experience in the real estate field.
Please note that all photography and research is copyright protected. Feel free to share as long as you credit the source.
